In addition to making Giclee prints Stan also provides both beginning and advanced instruction with several different software programs. Teaching is at Stan's studio in Ithaca, NY. There are two possible ways for instruction.
- Individual one-on-one instruction is offered for a variety of programs. This can be either single longer sessions or a series of sessions over an agreed on period of time (weeks, months). The one-on-one instruction has the advantage of allowing each student to benefit from personalized attention wherein specific subjects can be covered. It can also be more intensive and focused and cover a greater body of material in a shorter period of time. This can also be done on an hourly basis.
- Group instruction and workshops will be offered from time to time that involves anywhere from 2 to 6 persons. A small group means that more individual attention is possible. It also is less expensive than one-on-one instruction. It also allows for sharing of information with other students and benefiting from the questions others may ask. An example of this is a workshop on Giclee printing that is offered periodically.

Instruction discount are available:
- 5 to 10 hours, 10% discount
- 11 to 19 hours, 15% discount
- 20 or more hours, 20% discount
Pricing for Small Group Instruction.
- 2-3 persons for Photoshop, Video, & Dreamweaver,
$40/hr. per student. Sessions can be 1 or 2 days, 4-6 hours per day.
