1. INITIAL PREPARATION.
a. Scans & Proofing. $35-50 per image depending on size of the original work. Scans are at high resolution in preparation for printing, with minor retouching. Larger works are photographed. Proofing includes one 8.5"x11" print of the full image. A second print to show a piece of what the print will look like at actual print size can also be requested at $5.
b. Proofing only. $16 per image of each work to be printed.
Proofs are made on 8.5"x11" sheet media of a client provided adequate size good quality digital file for printing. Discounts available for multiple proofs.
c. Prep of the digital file for printing including minor color balance, touch up, and image correction are included at no additional cost, unless special image editing is needed or requested.THERE IS NO INITIAL PREP FEE, AND PROOFS ARE OPTIONAL!
You can opt to go straight to final printing without making proofs, but if you want to better match the original art work then getting a proof is highly recommended.
2. PRINTING. Print prices are calculated on cost/square inch. However as the print size increases there is an increasing discount up to a maximum of 40% for larger prints.

STAN SPECIALIZES IN LARGE PRINTS UP TO 60 INCHES WIDE
ON CANVAS, 44 INCHES WIDE ON HIGH QUALITY WATERCOLOR PAPER, BY ALMOST ANY LENGTH YOU CHOOSE.
- Canvas prints Ready to Hang are framed on 1.5 inch deep stretcher bars. The image is stretched around the 4 sides as shown below and can be printed with a white or solid color edge, a MIRROR WRAP, or (NEW) a FAUX FRAME edge. A Faux frame print looks just like a matted and wood framed print although it is all printed on the canvas .... there is no real frame. The beauty of a Faux Frame print is that you have the look of a framed print but not the cost.

- Most canvas prints are stretched on individually crafted stretcher frames made from poplar hard wood. One advantage is that the frames can be constructed to fit any size image so there is no restrictions on image print sizes or proportions. (You don't have to conform to 1 inch increments!). Another is that a high quality hard wood is used so you are getting one of the best wood frames available.
- Watercolor prints come with 2 inches of additional white space all four sides at no additional cost. However additional white space beyond 2 inches will add to the total print cost.
- A full size proof print can be provided upon request. If approved this will be considered a final print and charged at full cost.
- Image Size and Dimensions. An image can be printed at any sheet size desired on available media rolls. Watercolor paper is available up to 44 in. width, canvas up to 60 in., and fabrics up to 42 in.

3. MULTIPLE PRINT DISCOUNTS of a single image, made in one print session are available. Discounts at all print sizes are as follows:

d. Image Correction and Retouching (Photoshop). At $15 per quarter hour.
e. Photoshop Instruction (at Stan's Ithaca studio). $ 45 per hour.
