GICLEE PRINTS AND GICLEE PRINTING

ALL PROJECTS START WITH AN ESTIMATE.

At the beginning of a project a written or emailed estimate of the work to be done will be provided to the client. Included will be a detailing of services to be rendered. Shipping and mailing costs may be included if applicable.

PAYMENT IS A TWO STEP PROCESS.

STEP 1. An initial payment of 50% of the estimated project cost is required to start a project. After that payment the client will then provide either the original work, transparencies, negatives, or digital images.

STEP 2 . Upon completion of the final prints and just before shipping all remaining unpaid balances will be paid. The prints will be given or shipped to the client with a final invoice that will explain all the actual costs of the project.

Note: Payments can be made through a PayPal invoice sent by Stan to the client who will then make immediate payment. Or if the client prefers, a payment can be made directly through a credit card if the necessary information is supplied, or also with a check or cash.

Sales tax may be charged for printing or services that are not for resale or in States that require such taxes. New York State clients wishing to purchase prints and services without taxation for resale must provide a New York Resale Certificate form ST120 with the buyers resale number listed. This can be kept on file for future print orders.

Stan can in advance, if requested, examine client supplied images without charge to determine if the files are suitable for making the prints the client desires. If they are deemed usable then the client will make the initial payment as in Step 1 above.

SHIPPING

In most cases shipping can be relatively inexpensive if Ground shipping is chosen. In many cases a box to be shipped up to 30"x40"x5" in size will cost less than $25 in the US. However boxes over this size may incur oversize charges which then will be charged to to client. Also any applicable tax will still be charged.

Prints can be shipped by either Fedex, UPS or USPS.

Shipping Time. Some typical times are as follows.
----- Ithaca to New York City (225 miles)-1 day delivery
----- Ithaca to Chicago IL (660 miles)- 3 day delivery
----- Ithaca to Miami FL (1350 miles)- 4 day delivery
----- Ithaca to Los Angeles CA (2660 miles)- 5 day delivery
These are examples only and delivery time to your location may vary.

Other shipping options besides Ground are as follows. The cost difference between Ground and the speed selected for faster shipping will be billed to the client.

Fedex - 3 day, 2 day, Overnight.
UPS - 3 day, 2 day, Overnight.
US Post Office - Express Mail Overnight, 2 day
